Water Rescue Refresher

Time frame 6-8 Hours

Need a refresher?

This refresher course is designed for personnel already certified at Water Rescue & Emergency Response (WRER – PFBC). Participants will be provided an initial safety briefing before proceeding with moving water exercises to demonstrate proficiency in appropriate skills. All students attending shall provide a copy of their WRER Certificate. This training session is not affiliated with the PFBC. WhiteCap may assist with equipment. Please converse with us.

Students will need:

A surface dry suit
Type III or Type V PFD (whistle attached)
Water Rescue Helmet
Water Boots
Water Rescue Gloves
Strobe or Headlamp

Equipment needed:

Throwbags
Ring Buoy
Paddles or Wooden Poles
Software (Rope/webbing)
