Rescue Boat Refresher

Time frame: 6-8 hours

Need a refresh?

This refresher course is designed for personnel already certified at Emergency Boat Operations & Rescue (EBOR – PFBC). Participants will be provided an initial safety briefing before proceeding with moving water exercises to demonstrate proficiency in appropriate skills. All students attending shall provide a copy of their EBOR Certificate. This training session is not affiliated with the PFBC. WhiteCap may assist with equipment. Please converse with us.

Students will need:

A surface dry suit
Type III or Type V PFD (whistle attached)
Water Rescue Helmet
Water Boots
Water Rescue Gloves
Strobe or Headlamp
Rescue Boat

Equipment needed:

Inflatable Boat with motor, Hard Bottom Rescue Boat with motor
Canoe/Kayak
Webbing/Throwbags
Rescue Cargo Net
Software (Rope/webbing)
Ring Buoy
