Duration: 16 Hours | Con-Ed: 6 credits
This course includes many valuable swiftwater rescue techniques. Using both classroom and practical hands-on training, Water Rescue & Emergency Response covers planning, medical considerations, rescue equipment, self-rescue and shore-based rescue techniques. This course meets or exceeds NFPA 1670 operator level guidelines.
Must be 18 years of age or older. Must be able to swim 100 yards nonstop.
